DEVASTATING FIRE IN ROHINGYA REFUGEE CAMPS

On March 5th, a fire erupted in Cox’s Bazar, displacing 12,000 Rohingya refugees while also causing further damage to the world’s largest refugee camp.

More than 2,000 shelters were destroyed due to the fire. This is the second fire they have faced in two years, leaving innocent lives homeless and losing what little they already had.

Our team at Muslim Aid USA, alongside partners, are on the ground in Cox’s Bazar, providing immediate aid to refugees in need, including shelter kits, water, food, health support, clothing, and emergency items, soap, and blankets.

While the cause of the fire is still unknown, early assessments from local authorities report that an investigation is under way.
