The Syrian Refugee crisis remains the world’s largest displacement crisis of our time.
Since the Syrian civil war began in 2011, families are consistently being ripped apart — the brutal conflict has killed hundreds of thousands, including innocent young children who lost their parents and became orphans overnight.
There are currently 1.3 million Syrian refugees living in Jordan with tens of thousands still living in camps. In July 2023 the UN food agency will be reducing their food aid due to an “unprecedented funding crisis.” Officials have also announced that 50,000 refugees will be cut off from assistance all together. It is up to us to be there to help fill this gap.
