More than 50,000 people have been killed, over 100,000 injured and over 1 Million still homeless in the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that struck Gaziantep and Sanliurfa Türkiye and Northern Syria in the early morning hours on February 6th, 2023. The death toll is expected to continue to rise as search and rescue teams rescue people who are still trapped under rubble in mounds of wreckage.
