Transitional Shelter for Rohingya
To improve living conditions for Rohingya families living in Bangladesh’s refugee camps, Muslim Aid USA is constructing 200 transitional shelters and NFIs for Rohingya families, as well as host families in Ukhiya. This has allowed us to build capacity in the development of sustainable operation, maintenance, improvement, and fire safety.
In the future, we expect this project to allow for ensured protection and a comfortable living environment for 120 Rohingya families in the camp. In addition, we expect an increased capacity of the Rohingya families to build resilience and community engagement to improve their living conditions.
