According to UNICEF, four billion people (almost two-thirds of the world’s population) experience severe water scarcity. Moreover, the constant struggle to arrange safe water puts deprived people at risk of health problems such as diarrhoea, dysentery etc.
Lack of water continues to add misery to the lives of needy families. The poor have no choice but to travel miles in search of water, even then mostly unable to arrange it. As a result, they have to endure not only health but also hygiene problems.
