Muslim Aid is providing a quality maternal healthcare unit for pregnant and lactating mothers through skilled midwives under the supervision of a gynecologist, and primary health care physician. Care is given for children under 4 years by pediatricians in the mentioned villages through “Rahme Medical Center” for a period of 9 months.
MA provides a new project to improve accessibility of quality MNCH services through development and implementation of an integrated and sustainable project at all levels of the health care delivery system.
Consequently, the project will carry on planning on a broad focus to the reduction in maternal, neonatal, child mortality, morbidity reduction, supervision and accountability. After responding to the health care challenges, and protecting the health and well –being of the targeted vulnerable Lebanese community, particularly the most disadvantaged mothers in the maternal period, and children of the highest need.
Our office with the cooperation and coordination of a local partner through “Rahme Medical Center” will provide the beneficiaries in Shebaa, Kfarshouba, and Hebariyeh villages with maternal and primary care.
