Aqiqah

Aqiqah is most preferable (mustahabb) on the seventh day after a child is born. If it has been missed, then it is allowed to be carried out on the 14th or 21st day. Although Muslim Aid currently allocate Aqiqah sacrifices on a quarterly basis, we welcome donor requests and we will do our best to accommodate within time-frames.

AQIQAH (ANIMAL SACRIFICE)

When a child is born, an Aqiqah must be given by the parents/guardian as a gesture of thanks to Allah (SWT), protection from Shaytaan, expiation of sins and preventing any calamities, inshaAllah.
