The Syrian Refugee crisis remains the world’s largest displacement crisis of our time.
Since the Syrian civil war began in 2011, families are consistently being ripped apart — the brutal conflict has killed hundreds of thousands, including innocent young children who lost their parents and became orphans overnight.
There are currently 3.6 million Syrian refugees living in Türkiye and 1.2 million of them are children. These children have witnessed what no child ever should, causing emotional and mental trauma that will require the appropriate resources to heal.
