Water Rehabiliation – Yemen
Dumnat Alnaser village consists of 150 houses and 35 km far from Almarawah city. Inside the village, 1269 individuals have lack of pure water and woman and children are traveling long distances with water 15 liters bottles on their heads and with donkeys to get water.
MAUSA has provided a grant to rehabilitate the solar well which is located inside the village to save the community including women and children. This project mainly benefits the underserved communities through installation of solar energy system for the well, installation of two tanks beside the well and connect a line to move water from the well to the tanks.
