Support Al Awda Hospital in Northern Gaza

Strengthening the response capacity to emergency situation of Al Awda Hospital in the Northern area of Gaza Strip.

Al-Awda Hospital received 74 casualties in the emergency department, 19 of them underwent surgical operations, where all the medical services were provided free of charge.

The UHWC medical teams contributed to the aid of patients in the field. The number of casualties that received first aid by the medical teams of UHWC are 322 cases in total.

Therefore, this project aims to strengthen the emergency services at Al Awda hospital in order to respond to the current emergency situation. This project will ensure access to emergency health services including surgical services to injuries (women, men, boys and girls) free of charge through providing Al Awda Hospital with medication and medical disposables. It is worthy to mention that those medications and medical disposables will only be used at the emergency department, surgical department and surgical rooms.

Additionally, this project aims to ensure the continuity of the provision of health services in the Awda Hospital.
